A Strange Bird on wood panel

I've been very busy lately. I started a new job at Gallery Gachet. I've met so many lovely people the past two weeks I've blown over. And school requires lots of reading and concentration.

I did this painting spontaneously. Normally I plan, draw with pencil on the canvas and then start the endless layers of oil.

Landing pads i.e. foxglove

Whenever I see this kind of plant, I can't help but think "landing pads".

Last year a bumble bee landed on my nose by mistake. It landed, paused for a second and then seemed to realize it wasn't in the right spot and flew off!

It appears that after the first episode, a charming woman called Ann appears on the show, she replaces one of the original group. I like the first episode because they review a Joanna Newson song. I don't understand the appeal of her music...and I don't think they do either!

Potato Benevolence shop news

I bought a new Epson printer. The quality of K3 Ultrachrome ink is wonderful. So, I decided to start offering photographic prints. There won't be tonnes, but there will be enough to offer a wider selection of prints to all those potatoes out there!

I love photography, so it does make sense.
