That's me on the right, can't believe my legs were so short. The middle photo is my bedroom when I was young. I loved the wallpaper and my daddy made the furniture himself. The last is a painting I'm doing, it will look a lot different when I'm done fiddling around.

Fernand Pelez - painter

"Fernand Pelez (Paris, January 18, 1843 – August 7, 1913) was a French painter of Spanish origin who worked in Paris. Pelez portrayed social issues in a realistic style. Pelez was a commercial failure in the 1880s, and after the failure of his L'Humanité at the Salon of 1896, Pelez became something of a recluse, refusing to exhibit or sell his work."

Painting rah rah

I'm trying to get used to my new schedule: working full-time, going to school, sleeping...drawing and reading fall to the wayside, which is not something I feel good about anymore. I'm working out a plan though. Currently I'm working on a painting, it will take a long time to finish. I like oil paints, and I'm using water-mixable oils. They are a bit stinky, but they are nothing like the real stuff which requires an area to paint with good ventilation.
